*Thank you to Sandy and Rachel’s Random Resources for my copy of this book*
Sarah Parsons has a choice ahead of her. After the trip of a lifetime she’s somehow returned home with TWO handsome men wanting to whisk her away into the sunset.
Pulled in two directions across the globe, it’s making life trickier than it sounds. Her gorgeous American Josh, wants to meet Sarah in Hawaii for a holiday to remember. Meanwhile silver fox James plans to wine and dine her in London.
It’s a lot to handle for this Aussie girl, who had totally sworn off men!
Oh, how wonderful it was to be back joining Sara on her journey to choosing the future love of her life! Although I am very much #TeamJosh, I did actually really enjoy experiencing the glamorous London life between Sara and James. It’s a lifestyle that ever girl probably dreams of having, however, the reality of it is, unless you had lived a life like James’, you wouldn’t be being your true self and it frustrated me that Sara gave this man too much time of the day, because everything she was doing was solely focused on pleasing him and making sure she fit in to his ‘perfect’ world. That is not to say that they didn’t have sparks though, because trust me, there was plenty of sparks going off between them! And the places he took her to wine and dine, absolutely stunning!
Part 2 of the book, however, was really when my excitement began to bubble because Sara was finally being reunited with the man I personally believed, was the right fit for her! Josh and Sara’s time in Hawaii was absolutely glorious. It was steamy, romantic, adventurous – everything the two of them deserved and it was clear from the second they were reunited – despite how embarrassing and hilarious that moment was – that Sara had fallen back in to being her true self and Josh loving every part of her. Until Sandy decides to play with our heart strings just a little longer, leaving us to wonder what is going to happen again, when reality strikes once more.
I absolutely adored returning to the life of Sara, as she is such a wonderful character, who is realistically navigating her way around a heart break, trying to find love again. Whilst this story focuses strongly on romance, it also highlights self-discovery, as Sara begins to realise who she wants to be and who allows her to be that person and expects nothing more. This time around, we was also introduced to a new character, Siobhan, who was an absolute ray of sunshine and probably a bigger fan of Sara and Josh as myself! Her story really tugged at my heartstrings and I’m glad they all found each other because I think it definitely made for an either better holiday for all three. The little reunion with Sara’s sister, Cat, as well was a delight. I fell completely in love with Cat’s story in book two, and it was a joy to return to it and see how she was getting on.
Book three finds a chapter in Sara’s life closing, as she finally makes that grand decision between Josh and James. Both men brought so much to Sara’s life and it was never going to be an easy choice to make. I could only dream of being caught up in a love triangle, with the way Sara’s life was going, it sounded like a pretty decent idea! Unless you start to fall for both of them and then it becomes a huge disaster – yikes! Nevertheless, whoever Sara decides to choose, you will finish this book with tears in your eyes and a smile on your face.
